St. Augustine Golf Community Announces New Construction

Looking for a new home in World Golf Village but think that there aren't any? Well, all you have to do is wait a few months and you'll have a variety of options to choose from. The Northeast Florida golf community is extremely pleased to announce new construction in four of their neighborhoods. These new homes range from active adult, low maintenance homes to luxury custom estates on the King & Bear golf course.

Let's begin with the two new luxury custom homes in St. Augustine to be built at the Crest. The Crest is one of the exclusive neighborhoods of the Estates with homes priced from the $600's. These generous homesites are decorated with ancient oak trees and tall pines, plus many offer beautiful views of the King & Bear golf course.

Also under construction in 2010 is a new spec home in GroveWood priced in the mid $300's. Being built by Providence Homes, the 2,559 square foot home will feature four bedrooms with three and one-half baths. The home is perfect for any growing family wanting to live at World Golf Village.

Of course, Legacy Builders is currently working on four new buildings in Laterra Links. We broke this news earlier, but to sum it up again each building will feature three upscale coach homes for a total of 12 new units at Laterra Links by the end of 2010. The first building is expected to be completed as early as July.

And finally, we are extremely excited to announce that the Cascades is under new ownership of Dockstreet Communities. The Cascades is the active adult community withing World Golf Village. Dockstreet will be breaking ground on six new model by the end of the month!

There is so much going on at World Golf Village, which is kind of a rarity in the current housing market. Be sure to stop by and take a look next time you are in the area, and let 2010 be the year you finally buy a golf home in St. Augustine.

World Golf Village Home Builder Receives 99% Client Recommendation Rate

CornerStone Homes, a builder of beautiful St. Augustine golf homes at World Golf Village, just recently received at 99% client recommendation rate. This means that 99/100 customers would recommend the builder to family and friends. This is an amazing achievement and one of the highest compliments any business can receive, and know all of this, we just had to get Mark Downing, managing partner of CornerStone Homes, to sit down with us and let us know what sets them apart from the rest.

While there are many contributing factors to their high client recommendation rate, the one thing that Mark considers as the foundation of CornerStone's success is the attention to detail and customer care. Their first priority to ensure the client is happy every step of the way through the building process, and through constant communication, the client feels involved in the building of their new home. And, they absolutely should be involved.

CornerStone also makes the extra effort to ensure the client is truly happy with their new home. One time the builder even redesigned a home to make all of the toilets facing away from the front door to adhere to the owner's devotion to feng shui.

He also suggested that we just compare the finished product of a CornerStone home to other the homes of other builders. The attention to detail that CornerStone offers is apparent in the window sills, door casings and dry wall. To make sure everything is done correctly and nothing has been missed, CornerStone has a 300 point checklist that they go over with their trade partners - talk about attention to detail.

Needless to say, World Golf Village is proud to have CornerStone as a builder in the master-planned golf community.

Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 5th in order to participate in the next Sneak Peek event at World Golf Village. These monthly events are open to the public and give you the rare opportunity to take a look inside some of the golf homes in the master-planned development.
