St. Augustine Golf Community Announces New Construction

Looking for a new home in World Golf Village but think that there aren't any? Well, all you have to do is wait a few months and you'll have a variety of options to choose from. The Northeast Florida golf community is extremely pleased to announce new construction in four of their neighborhoods. These new homes range from active adult, low maintenance homes to luxury custom estates on the King & Bear golf course.

Let's begin with the two new luxury custom homes in St. Augustine to be built at the Crest. The Crest is one of the exclusive neighborhoods of the Estates with homes priced from the $600's. These generous homesites are decorated with ancient oak trees and tall pines, plus many offer beautiful views of the King & Bear golf course.

Also under construction in 2010 is a new spec home in GroveWood priced in the mid $300's. Being built by Providence Homes, the 2,559 square foot home will feature four bedrooms with three and one-half baths. The home is perfect for any growing family wanting to live at World Golf Village.

Of course, Legacy Builders is currently working on four new buildings in Laterra Links. We broke this news earlier, but to sum it up again each building will feature three upscale coach homes for a total of 12 new units at Laterra Links by the end of 2010. The first building is expected to be completed as early as July.

And finally, we are extremely excited to announce that the Cascades is under new ownership of Dockstreet Communities. The Cascades is the active adult community withing World Golf Village. Dockstreet will be breaking ground on six new model by the end of the month!

There is so much going on at World Golf Village, which is kind of a rarity in the current housing market. Be sure to stop by and take a look next time you are in the area, and let 2010 be the year you finally buy a golf home in St. Augustine.

World Golf Village Home Builder Receives 99% Client Recommendation Rate

CornerStone Homes, a builder of beautiful St. Augustine golf homes at World Golf Village, just recently received at 99% client recommendation rate. This means that 99/100 customers would recommend the builder to family and friends. This is an amazing achievement and one of the highest compliments any business can receive, and know all of this, we just had to get Mark Downing, managing partner of CornerStone Homes, to sit down with us and let us know what sets them apart from the rest.

While there are many contributing factors to their high client recommendation rate, the one thing that Mark considers as the foundation of CornerStone's success is the attention to detail and customer care. Their first priority to ensure the client is happy every step of the way through the building process, and through constant communication, the client feels involved in the building of their new home. And, they absolutely should be involved.

CornerStone also makes the extra effort to ensure the client is truly happy with their new home. One time the builder even redesigned a home to make all of the toilets facing away from the front door to adhere to the owner's devotion to feng shui.

He also suggested that we just compare the finished product of a CornerStone home to other the homes of other builders. The attention to detail that CornerStone offers is apparent in the window sills, door casings and dry wall. To make sure everything is done correctly and nothing has been missed, CornerStone has a 300 point checklist that they go over with their trade partners - talk about attention to detail.

Needless to say, World Golf Village is proud to have CornerStone as a builder in the master-planned golf community.

New Construction to Begin at World Golf Village

The news and economic reports would leave you to believe that new home construction is at a standstill, but this is not the case at the Northeast Florida golf community World Golf Village. The master-planned development features a myriad of different neighborhoods all offering different home builders, different products and different price points. Well, one of the luxury custom home builders at World Golf Village, Legacy Builders, has decided to undertake a new project with construction expected to begin in January 2010 and anticipated to be complete by the year's end.

The new project consists of five multi-unit buildings in the Laterra Links neighborhood at WGV. Each building will feature four coach homes, for a total of 20 new St. Augustine golf homes. The coach homes range from 2,160 to 2,780 square feet and include features like two car garages and screened lanais. Home shoppers can find luxury at Laterra Links as high-end finishes like granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, hardwood floors and others are offered on all homes.

And while residents at Laterra Links can enjoy the abundance of amenities World Golf Village has to offer, the neighborhood also has its own list of amenities just for Laterra Links residents - a sparkling pool and a 7,200 square foot amenity center with fitness center, event room, kitchen, veranda and more.

Saturday Sneak Peeks Continue at World Golf Village

Mark your calendar for Saturday, December 5th in order to participate in the next Sneak Peek event at World Golf Village. These monthly events are open to the public and give you the rare opportunity to take a look inside some of the golf homes in the master-planned development. Each month a different neighborhood is featured, and, for December, homes in Heritage Landing will be showcased. The tour opens at 1:00 p.m. and concludes at 4:00 p.m.

You can pick up tour maps at Davidson Realty at the main entrance to World Golf Village. Signs will also be posted throughout the community to help guide you to the tour homes. King and Bear at the World Golf Village

Everyone has heard that now is the best time to buy a home. Federal incentive programs, attractive interest rates and a wide variety of homes on the market, make this the ideal time to make an offer on a new home. But what you may not know is that for or similar reasons, now is also the best time to purchase a residential lot and begin home construction.

Lot pricing has been competitive and we are now seeing some of the best rates in decades. Most importantly, pricing for new home construction is almost at an all time low. Major building materials and components as well as trade labors are all vastly discounted.

If you're looking to build a home in the Florida area, you should consider King and Bear at World Golf Village. The King and Bear is home to the first-time-ever and one-time-only collaborative golf course designed by Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. The gated, secure neighborhood will have 968 residential homes upon completion, but only 129 of the single family lots will overlook the prestigious course, meaning time is of the essence. As of November 18, there are only 23 of these remarkable lots available for first-time homebuyers.

In addition to competitive rates and low prices, the King and Bear does not place start-time limits on home construction. This means you'll be able to take your time designing your home, selecting the builder and contractors who fit best with you and your needs.

The team over at The Davidson Companies is able to to assist you with any of your lot purchase needs. They'll be able to help you through the selection process and show you how best to place your preferred home on a lot to ensure beauty and value over time. The market conditions are improving and changing weekly and the window of opportunity is limited. The Davidson Companies will be there to help you through the entire process.

Thanks to Rick Pariani for providing the information needed for this blog post.
