King and Bear at the World Golf Village

Everyone has heard that now is the best time to buy a home. Federal incentive programs, attractive interest rates and a wide variety of homes on the market, make this the ideal time to make an offer on a new home. But what you may not know is that for or similar reasons, now is also the best time to purchase a residential lot and begin home construction.

Lot pricing has been competitive and we are now seeing some of the best rates in decades. Most importantly, pricing for new home construction is almost at an all time low. Major building materials and components as well as trade labors are all vastly discounted.

If you're looking to build a home in the Florida area, you should consider King and Bear at World Golf Village. The King and Bear is home to the first-time-ever and one-time-only collaborative golf course designed by Arnold Palmer and Jack Nicklaus. The gated, secure neighborhood will have 968 residential homes upon completion, but only 129 of the single family lots will overlook the prestigious course, meaning time is of the essence. As of November 18, there are only 23 of these remarkable lots available for first-time homebuyers.

In addition to competitive rates and low prices, the King and Bear does not place start-time limits on home construction. This means you'll be able to take your time designing your home, selecting the builder and contractors who fit best with you and your needs.

The team over at The Davidson Companies is able to to assist you with any of your lot purchase needs. They'll be able to help you through the selection process and show you how best to place your preferred home on a lot to ensure beauty and value over time. The market conditions are improving and changing weekly and the window of opportunity is limited. The Davidson Companies will be there to help you through the entire process.

Held on November 2 at the World Golf Hall of Fame, the ceremony honored golf legends and contributors such as Christy O'Connor, Jose Maria Olazabal and Lanny Wadkins.

The induction ceremony is held each year at the World Golf Hall of Fame. 2009 Inductees received a special trophy as well as exhibits within the museum in their honor. Inductees' personal items were also added to their personal lockers in the Member Locker Room and bronzed relief plaques for each inductee will be added to to the "Wall of Fame" within the Hall. The event was free and open to the public. Golf aficionados were able to set up chairs and blankets on the World Golf Hall of Fame lawn to listen to presenters including Jim Nantz and Arnold Palmer.

This ceremony is just one of the special events that World Golf Village residents get to enjoy throughout the year. In addition to being home of the World Golf Hall of Fame, the Neighborhoods of the World Golf Village boast amenities such as the PGA TOUR Spa Laterra, a year-round heated Junior Olympic-sized pool, lighted tennis courts, playground and fitness center.
